Blitzkrieg Premier & Open Leagues featuring $20,000 total prize pool

We are thrilled to bring you the Blitzkrieg Premier and Open leagues for Europe and North America. Featuring a total of $20,000 across both regions, 12 teams will compete in their regional Premier League and an unlimited amount of teams will fight through Open League for a podium finish and chance at next season’s Premier League. Details on the qualification process will be released shortly, as well as details on which teams have been directly invited.

We know how much you have all been waiting on the news of these leagues, so we wanted to make sure we got the essential details out to you, with more information to follow over the next 2-3 weeks.

We also feel it’s important to state our primary goal with these leagues is player development, consistency and creating a solid product which will attract more players and established esports organisations, as well as giving our partners and sponsors another eason to continue supporting Battalion 1944’s community.

Prize Pool

Premier Division ($7,000)

• 1st Place: $3,500
• 2nd Place: $1,750
• 3rd Place: $750
• 4th Place: $500
• 5th Place: $250
• 6th Place: $250

Open Division ($3,000)

• 1st Place: $1,500
• 2nd Place: $750
• 3rd Place: $500
• 4th Place: $250

Registration & League Fees

Registration opens for all on Friday July 19th and will close by Sunday August 4th. Every team is subject to paying League Fees in order to be eligible for Blitzkrieg Premier League and Blitzkrieg Open League. Only teams who have paid their league fees will be eligible to participate in pre-season week.

• Open League: $15 per team

Schedule

The default match day for the group stage is every Sunday, but teams are free to schedule their match for the week within the designated time frame (see below). Matches which are featured will be played on Tuesdays and broadcasted live on Twitch.
