Announcing Blitzkrieg Masters Amsterdam

We’re extremely honoured to announce the world’s first Battalion 1944 major will be run by The Plays. 

Blitzkrieg Masters is the world’s first Battalion 1944 major tournament and boasts a $50,000 prize pool. 16 of the world’s greatest Battalion 1944 teams will make their way to Amsterdam to compete between the 27th and 30th of September. There are multiple opportunities to earn a spot for Blitzkrieg Masters;

• • 5 European Qualifiers

• • 2 North American Qualifiers

• • Gallantry LAN Champion

• • The Plays Wildcard

• 2 Bulkhead Interactive Wildcards

Qualifier Information

12 of the 16 teams will qualify for Blitzkrieg Masters Amsterdam through way of open qualifier; 10 through the European Qualifiers and 2 from the North American Qualifiers.

European Qualifiers

There will be 5 qualifiers where 2 teams from each qualifier will earn access to the Amsterdam event. The format for these qualifiers will be BO1 until RO16 where the matches will become BO3. The last round of the tournament will be the semi-finals, both of which will be streamed.

Qualifier 1: 21st & 22nd July

Qualifier 2: 28th & 29th July

Qualifier 3: 4th & 5th August

Qualifier 4: 11th & 12th August

Qualifier 5: 18th & 19th August

North American Qualifiers

There will be 2 qualifiers where 1 team from each qualifier will earn access to the Amsterdam event. The format for these qualifiers will be BO1 until RO16 where the matches will become BO3.

Qualifier 1: 14th & 15th July

Qualifier 2: 28th & 29th July

We will be hosting tournaments on the Battalion 1944 beta client throughout June and encourage teams to participate as a means of practice with the new game mode and weapons. Results of these tournaments will contribute to seedings for the Open Qualifiers.
