Blitzkrieg Masters is the world’s first Battalion 1944 major tournament and boasts a $50,000 prize pool. 16 of the world’s greatest Battalion 1944 teams will make their way to the Netherlands to compete between the 27th and 30th of September.

Definitions
- Player – Participant of an event by The Plays.
- Team – A group of participants of an event by The Plays.
- Cheating – Use of a 3rd party application to obtain a competitive advantage against other human Players.
- Bug Abuse – Intentionally using unintended features accidentally built into the game (including pixel-walking).
- Admin – Individual or individuals responsible for running an event by The Plays.
- Event – At least one match.
- Boosting – When one Player stands on top of another.
1. Player & Team Conduct
- 1.1 All Players are expected to show the utmost respect to other Players and Teams.
- 1.2 All Players are expected to show the utmost respect to all tournament Admins.
- 1.3 Player nicknames which can be construed as being rude, vulgar or offensive are strictly prohibited. Any Player with such name will be asked to change to a more suitable one.
- 1.4 Team names which can be construed as being rude, vulgar or offensive are strictly prohibited. Any Team with such name will be asked to change to a more suitable one.
- 1.5 Player in-game avatars which can be construed as being rude, vulgar or offensive are strictly prohibited. Any Player with such avatar will be asked to change to a more suitable one.
- 1.6 Team logos which can be construed as being rude, vulgar or offensive are strictly prohibited. Any Team with such logo will be asked to change to a more suitable one.
- 1.7 All Players are prohibited from Cheating or performing any Bug Abuse.
- 1.8 All Players are expected to be on the server and ready to play by the official start time as outlined by the Event schedule. Failing to show up for a match within ten minutes after the scheduled starting time or obstructing the start of the match without being able to specify a valid reason will lead to the team forfeiting the match.
- 1.9 Boosting is allowed as long as the Player who is being boosted is either standing on top of another Player or being boosted to a spot which is reachable in a conventional, intended way.
- 1.10 The instructions of an Admin are always to be followed.
- 1.11 If a Player witnesses another Player breaking the rules he is expected to contact an Admin immediately and provide proof of the offence.
2. Communication
- 2.1.1 Online Qualifiers: All Teams must have at least one Player available for communication on Discord at all times.
- 2.1.2 Offline Qualifiers: All Teams must have at least one Player available for communication on Discord at all times.
- 2.1.3 Blitzkrieg Masters: All Teams must appoint one Player as the main contact throughout the event.
- 2.2 All Players must use their recognised name (i.e. the name as it appears on the registration form) in-game.
- 2.3 All Players must use their recognised name (i.e. the name as it appears on the registration form) on Discord.
3. Tournament Format

- 3.1.3 Playoff Bracket: Single Elimination.
- 3.1.4 Series Length: Best-of-1 (BO1) until Round of 16 (RO16) where matches be best-of-three (BO3).
- 3.1.5 Last match: Semi Final
- 3.2 Blitzkrieg Masters North American Online Qualifiers
- 3.2.1 Team Size: 5 versus 5.
- 3.2.2 Region: North America.
- 3.2.3 Playoff Bracket: Single Elimination.
- 3.2.4 Series Length: Best-of-1 (BO1) until Round of 8 (RO8) where matches be best-of-three (BO3).
- 3.2.5 Last match: Final
- 3.3 Blitzkrieg Masters Amsterdam 2018
- 3.3.1 Team Size: 5 versus 5.
- 3.3.2 Region: LAN.
- 3.3.3 Group Stage: Round Robin Best of Three (BO3)
- 3.3.4 Playoff Bracket: Single Elimination Best of Three (BO3)
4. Player Eligibility
- 4.1 Any Player who has been banned for Cheating in any game within the last 24 months is not eligible to participate in any event by The Plays.
- 4.2 Any Player with a developer-ban (i.e. “game ban”) within the last 12 months is not eligible to participate in any event by The Plays.
- 4.3 Any Player with a ban initiated by Bulkhead Interactive or The Plays will be indefinitely ineligible to participate in any event by The Plays unless otherwise stated.
- 4.4 Qualified Teams for Blitzkrieg Masters Amsterdam must retain at least three (3) players in their active roster from qualification through to the end of the Blitzkrieg Masters Amsterdam season (30th September 2018). Players own the qualification spot.
- 4.5 A Player on the roster may be substituted, so long as the substitute player does not play for another active team in the competition. Players may not be substituted mid match. Roster changes need to be reported to an Admin before the match starts. This must also meet the requirements of 4.4.
- 4.6 A Player who is an active member of a roster which has already qualified for Blitzkrieg Masters Amsterdam is not eligible to play in another team. Likewise, a Player may only be part of one roster per qualifying tournament and Blitzkrieg Masters Amsterdam.
- 4.7 Teams who have successfully qualified are not allowed to participate in further qualifying tournaments.
5. Player & Team Warnings
- 5.1 Players and teams found to be in violation in any of these rules are subject to the relevant punishment, at the Head Admin’s discretion.

- 6.3.1 Knife round to determine Team A or Team B. Winner of knife round decides to pick first or second.

7. Match Settings
- 7.1 Game Mode: Wartide 2.0.
- 7.2 Scoring
- 7.2.1 First team to 16 rounds in regulation time.
- 7.2.2 First team to win at least 4 rounds (and 2 rounds ahead) in overtime.
- 7.3 Weapon Limits: None.
8. Post-match
- 8.1 The team captain or appointed team representative must report their match scores accompanied by a screenshot in the relevant score report location. The score report must clearly state which team won and the number of rounds each team received.
- 8.2 Be ready to play your following match within 10 minutes of your previous match ending unless otherwise instructed by an Admin.
- 8.3 If you wish to request an opponent’s demo, you must notify an Admin with your reason for request no more than 5 minutes after your match has ended.
9. Broadcasting
- 9.1 All Events by The Plays are subject to being broadcasted live or recorded.
- 9.2 Teams will be asked to join an official Event server if their own server is not correctly configured for broadcasting.
- 9.3 Players are allowed to broadcast their own Point of View providing there is a stream delay of at least 120 seconds.
- 9.4 3rd party broadcasters are prohibited from broadcasting any Event by The Plays unless given prior permission.
- 9.4.1 To obtain permission, please contact media@blitzkriegmasters.com at least 72 hours prior to the tournament check-in.
10. Technical Issues & Pauses
- 10.1 Players must immediately call out any technical issues they or their teammates are experiencing.
- 10.2 If a non-Player technical issue occurs (e.g. server issue) the round will be replayed. An exception to this is where the outcome of a round is already decided prior to it ended (e.g. there is not enough time to plant or defuse).
- 10.3 Each team has 2 pauses during regulation time and 1 pause during overtime.
- 10.4 A pause can only last up to 2 minutes.
The extension as well as the enforcement of these rules and the punishment in case a rule is broken are at the administrators’ discretion.
