Changes to Blitzkrieg Battle
We’ve seen massive success with Blitzkrieg Battle quickly becoming the premier tournament in Battalion 1944. This has allowed the Blitzkrieg brand to expand into hosting the world’s first Battalion 1944 LAN tournament which took place at i62 this past weekend, and has also allowed us to run initiatives such as the Blitzkrieg North American Community League. Blitzkrieg Battle is evolving, so we’re announcing some changes to prepare for this.
Welcome Oceania!
As we move into our 8th week for Europe and our 4th week for North America, it’s time for us to move further across the world by welcoming Oceania as our latest supported region. The addition of Oceania allows us to cement ourselves as a global brand and plant the seed to grow Battalion on a global scale.
Oceanic teams can register for the first OCE Blitzkrieg Battle by following this link.
The introduction of Battle Points
Teams will compete each week for Battle Points from Saturday 7th April for all regions. These points will translate into a regional ranking system for all Blitzkrieg events, as well as expenses covered for Blitzkrieg LAN events. Every team who participates in a Blitzkrieg Battle will be awarded 100 Battle Points, then additional points will be awarded depending on finishing place. The regional rankings will be available for public viewing on the Blitzkrieg website and are updated every Monday.
